The top picture

EFIE.
As you may
know, both are
known as
oxygen (O2)
sensor
enhancers.

    EFIE: Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer

As you can see from the title, EFIE stands for Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer. This is a very accurate
name. This device was developed to modify the
Oxygen (O2) sensors signal in fuel injected vehicles. EFIEs
are the best solution for obtaining improved
fuel efficiency in computer controlled vehicles with oxygen
sensors
. This includes virtually all cars and trucks today. The EFIE is not intended to be a fuel saver by itself.
You must install a hydrogen gas electrolyzer (
hydrogen generator), or other device that gets more power out
of the same fuel by increasing the efficiency of the burn.
(Click here for more about hydrogen generator)

If all you did was add an EFIE to your car, with no other fuel efficiency system, you may actually lose some
efficiency. You might even damage your car, by over-leaning the fuel/air ratio, and overheating the valves. The
EFIE was designed to make the car run according to spec after another fuel efficiency device has been
installed.
With no modifications other than
HHO, performance increase and smoother idol are immediate. However, when
installing an
HHO electrolyzer (hydrogen generator) in a newer car more should be done to achieve significant
mileage increases. After we introduce
HHO gas the oxygen (O2) sensor reports a change in the exhaust gas
makeup to the computer. The computer in turn tries to correct the perceived problem by dumping in extra fuel.
This state usually turns on your check engine light, sets fault codes and puts the computer in a state called
open loop. In open loop the computer stops modifying the fuel ratios and reverts to a “safe” mode. Safe mode
dumps extra fuel. This can reduce the mileage benefits dramatically.

The
EFIE will get us back to closed loop by adjusting the signal to the computer, thus allowing the correct
adjustments for various driving conditions to be made. Basically, the
oxygen (O2) sensor tells the computer it's
oxygen readings by providing a voltage between 0 and 1 volt. In order to adjust this "data" the
EFIE adds a
small voltage to that delivered by the
oxygen (O2) sensor. This added voltage compensates for the variation
caused by
HHO. This EFIE is highly adjustable. Adjustments to the trim screw can change the EFIE's voltage
correction by tiny amounts; a millivolt or 2 (.001 volt).

This can be done on a much more basic level by adding an
oxygen (O2) sensor spacer or two. The O2
sensor
spacer pulls the sensor out of the exhaust gas flow, making it less sensitive, and causing the computer
to lean the fuel mixture. The spacers are a mechanical solution and therefore not adjustable, some have great
results, some not much.
Oxygen (O2) sensor spacers are cheap, easy to install, and fit many vehicles. I have
spacers available in other listings. Don’t buy spacers without metal gaskets, they may not seal properly.
Spacers with tapered sides may wedge in your exhaust and become un-removable.

This
EFIE (Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer) circuit board will modify the O2 sensor signal, and is
adjustable. This circuit board installs online between the
oxygen (O2) sensor and computer. This device
requires a higher degree of skill and automotive knowledge to install. An
EFIE board will be required for each
pre-catalytic converter sensor. I have single boards for vehicles with one pre-catalytic
O2 sensor and dual
boards for vehicles with two pre-catalytic
O2 sensors. Some vehicles have more than two pre-catalytic
sensors; in these cases more than one board will be necessary.

Both of these units have been designed to be economical, versatile, easy to install. They are easy to adjust to
your particular car and fuel saver combination. Please check your car or a wiring diagram of your car to
determine how many pre-catalytic converter
oxygen (O2) sensors you have. A diagram will be helpful for
installation also. Please don’t ask me how many you need, there are far too many vehicles for me to track and I
don’t have time to do research for everyone. In my guide I will tell where to get this info free for most vehicles.

What is the difference between the Deluxe and basic EFIEs?

Deluxe EFIEs have most wiring and tuning challenges solved for you. The access and tuning is made much
easier by providing the whole unit in a nice box which the installer can locate in a very accessible location. A
power switch and LED ensure full control over the unit. Monitoring ports on the unit provide easy access to the
signal and accept standard multi-meter probes. Adjustment knobs on the front make tuning the
EFIE much
easier.

All
EFIEs I know of install the same way so don’t think any one is easier to install than another. However some
use poorer circuit designs with lower quality components, so don’t get stuck get quality. You can also be
assured that you are purchasing from a knowledgeable mechanic with years of experience who can provide
technical assistance and product support. Beware of the copy cats who wont help you because they don’t know
how.

*** Use of a MAP enhancer is not necessary when using an
EFIE. ***

As understood, the purchase of the
EFIEs come with a detailed installation guide.

This is not an
oxygen sensor simulator - it will not allow you to remove the catalytic converter, nor will it modify
its performance.
The
oxygen sensor simulator is for testing purposes only and not for use on street vehicles.

You will receive:
1 Deluxe Dual
EFIE  or 1 single Deluxe Single EFIE, depending on your purchase, (5" x 2-1/4" x 15/16") size.
1 wiring harness with 5'-6" inches of wire
1 eight page detailed installation and tuning guide with diagram and pictures

To order the Deluxe Dual
EFIE or the Deluxe Single EFIE click below. This will open a new web page. When
