In the past, fuel savers, which the
HydroStar truly is, would not work
because fuel injection systems are
actually designed to prevent efficient
combustion!
Increasing the combustion efficiency
of an engine increases the exhaust
oxygen percentage. Most fuel
injection engines use an oxygen
sensor to infer the air/fuel ratio of the
engine, the increased oxygen content
in the exhaust is 'read' by the
computer to be a lean mixture in the
engine. The computer then adds
extra fuel to bring the pollution back
to 'normal'.
This problem led to the development
Enhancer (EFIE, pronounced Ee-Fy).
The EFIE allows you to apply an
offset to the voltage coming from the
oxygen sensor, so your vehicle's
computer is completely unaware that
the oxygen content of the exhaust
has increased. Hence, the HydroStar
will work on fuel injection engines.

This web site is not like the HydroStar System but it will save you allot of money in gasoline. The system they offer is allot less expensive to build than the HydroStar System but you do use gasoline with their system. This may be a better arrangement for you at this time. I bought this myself and must admit, it is worth the investment. Until I get my own HydroStar System in my car, I am very interested in what this web site has to offer. You will need oxygen sensor enhancers as well as Map sensor enhancers. These all work in unison to produce you the best miles per gallon you can get from your engine.
